Illinois History Conference Comes To Springfield

September 26, 2014

(Chicago, IL)  --  A conference that would benefit history buffs is now underway in Springfield.  The 16th annual Illinois History Conference will provide information about the state's shipyards, prehistoric construction, African-American activists and immigrants.  Of course, what history event would be complete without President Abe Lincoln stories.  The conference is being held at the Prairie Capital Convention Center and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.
