(Lewistown, IL) -- "Getting Your Feet Wet with Rain Gardens" will be offered later this month at University of Illinois Extension offices in the Peoria area. On September 23rd at the University of Illinois Extension Offices in Peoria and Lewistown it will beoffered at 1:390 p.m. It will be offered again on September 25th at 6:30 p.m. at the U of I Extension Office located in Tazewell County in Pekin. You can learn how to reduce your impact downstream by building a rain garden. U of I Extension Horticulture Educators Andrew Holsinger and Chris Enroth will be introducing participants to the concepts and construction technicques of a successfull rain garden.
