Keeping Off The Freshman Fifteen

(Undated)  --  Kids are leaving home for the first time as they head off to college, and health experts say they should be conscious about what they eat.  Dietitian Laura Jeffers says the lifestyle change puts freshman at risk for putting on weight.  The Freshman 15 is usually caused by late-night and over-eating, unhealthy snacks and lack of exercise.  Jeffers says freshman should come up with a plan on how to keep healthy foods in their diet and schedule times to workout.
