Hampton To Compete For 2014 Queen of Friendship Crown

(Canton, IL) -- Saturday night at Canton High School, a new Queen of Friendship will be crowned to reign over this year's Canton Friendship Festival. L Hampton is one of twelve contestitants vying for the crown. Hampton says that being a role model to younger girls is a big reason she is taking part in the pageant. Hampton is the daughter of Lane and Kevin Hampton of Canton. She will be a senior at Canton High School this fall. The pageant is taking place in the CHS Auditorium on Saturday night and will start at 6 p.m.
