Coonrod Participating In Queen Of Friendship Pageant

(Canton, IL) -- The Canton Friendship Festival isn't until the third week in September but the Queen of Friendship Pageant is coming up early next month. Dakota Coonrod is one of 12 contestants that is taking part in the pageant. Coonrod says that she thought it would be something exciting to be a part of. Coonrod is the daughter of Rachael Calfee and Brandon Coonrod. She plans to attend Spoon River College in the fall, then in two years transfer to Western Illinois University in Macomb and major in Special Education. The Queen of Friendship Pageant is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 9th in the Canton High School Auditorium.
