Tornado Victims Rally Around Sports
(Washington, IL) -- The people of Washington are rallying around high school sports to take their minds off of the aftermath of the deadly tornado that hit their town. Panthers football coach, Darrel Crouch, says most of their teams pulled off winning seasons last year. The November 2013 twister killed one person in Washington and took out hundreds of homes. People are still picking up the pieces but Crouch says the sports connection helps keep spirits lifted.
