State Shuts Down Food Processing Plant

(Springfield, IL) -- A Greene County food processing plant is being ordered to shut down. Officials say Parks Locker Service in Greenfield had nearly 140 meat and poultry violations between March 24th and June 17th, with water dripping onto meat rails, rust on meat hooks, and peeling paint on the walls where meat was being processed. Management was apparently unwilling or unable to correct the problems.
