Head Bank Teller Admits Long-Running Embezzlement
(Springfield, IL) -- Taking samples home from work is rarely a good idea, but it's an especially poor choice if you work at a bank, like Nancy Huskins of Lincoln did for 17 years. She's pleaded guilty to embezzling nearly two-million-dollars from the State Bank of Lincoln, where she was the head teller and had access to the bank's vault. She reportedly covered up the thefts by manipulating the audits. She could get 30 years in prison and be ordered to repay the money.
