Barker Contestant In 2014 Fulton County Fair Queen Pageant

(Lewistown, IL) -- On July 21st a new Fulton County Fair Queen will be crowned to reign over the 2014 Fulton County Fair. Makenna Barker is one of 16 contestants taking part in this year’s pageant. The 16-year old Barker says that the reason she wanted to take part in the pageant was because she has something that she wanted to prove to herself. Barker's parents are Ken and Marilyn Barker of Lewistown. She will be a freshman at Illinois College in the fall. Barker is being sponsored by the Fulton County Farm Bureau Women's Committee. The pageant is set to take place in front of the grandstand of the Fulton County Fair on the fairgrounds site located on the south edge of Lewistown on Monday, July 21st.
