Reducing Sodium Has Impact On Blood Pressure

(Undated)  -- Reducing your sodium intake can have an immediate impact on your blood pressure.  Doctor George Thomas says cutting back on sodium will go a long way.  Sodium is thought to constrict blood vessels and lead to high blood pressure.  Doctor Thomas says you shouldn't have any more than a teaspoon of salt each day, which comes out to around two-thousand milligrams.
