Traffic Stop In Canton Leads To Arrest Of Norris Man

(Canton, IL) -- A traffic stop last week resulted in the arrest of a Norris man. Police say they stopped the vehicle for speeding, 56 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone in the 2000 block of North Main Street on Thursday afternoon of last week at just after 5. An investigation found that a passenger in the vehicle, 47-year old Harold L. Pasco was wanted on a 2012 Fulton County Traffic Warrant failure to appear driving with a suspended driver's license. He was arrested and taken to the Canton Police Department to be processed. After posting a $500 cash bond and a $20 processing fee, Pasco was released and given an August Fulton County Court date in Lewistown. The driver of the vehicle, a 38-year old female was given a verbal warning for speeding.
