(Champaign, IL) -- A statue of late movie critic Roger Ebert will have a permanent home outside the Virginia Theater in Champaign. The sculpture will be dedicated today. Chaz Ebert, the honoree's widow, and Rick Harney, the artist who created the statue, are expected to attend. Scott Anderson, who chairs the campaign to raise money for the sculpture, says he's still nine-thousand-dollars short of covering the costs.
