Boyett Vying For 2014 Fulton County Fair Queen Crown

(Lewistown, IL) -- 18-year old Kassie Boyett is one of 16 contestants that will be vying for the 2014 Fulton County Fair Queen this year. Boyett says that after her sister participated in the competition two years ago, she decided to give it a try. Boyett is the daughter of Shawn and Dena Boyett of Astoria. She will be a freshman at Western Illinois University in the fall. Boyett is being sponsored by the Ipava American Legion. On Monday, July 21st, 2013 Fulton County Fair Queen Eve Shafer will crown the 2014 Fulton County Fair Queen in front of the Fulton County Fair Grandstand on the south edge of Lewistown.
