(Springfield, IL) -- The Libertarian Party is hoping to get a candidate in the race for governor this fall. They've submitted petitions to the State Board of Elections, naming Chad Grimm as the man for the state's top job. The 33-year-old currently manages fitness clubs in the Peoria area. Grimm says if he's elected, he'll take immediate steps to pardon people who are locked up for petty crimes and non-violent gun offenses. He also believes marijuana should be legalized and that taxes should be lower, if not eliminated.
