(Undated) -- Children are losing math and reading skills over their summer vacations. Children in west central Illinois and Fulton County are no different. Doctor Kate Eshleman says parents need to keep their children thinking over the summer. Kids can lose up to a month's worth of knowledge over summer break. Doctor Eshleman says asking your children questions can help keep their critical thinking skills from dropping off.
