Free Screening Of Movie Taking Place At Dickson Mounds Museum
(Lewistown, IL) -- A free screening of the film Green Fire will be taking place later this month at Dickson Mounds Museum near Lewistown. The University of Illinois Extension River Valley Master Naturalist and Dickson Mounds MUseum is inviting the public to see the first full-length, high definition documentary film ever made about legendary conservationist Aldo Leopold and his environmental legacy. Green Fire shares highlights from his extraordinary career, explaining how he shaped conservation and the modern environmental movement. The screening will be taking place on Saturday, June 22nd and will begin at 10 in the morning.
