Illinois Scores Poorly Among Retiring Veterans

(Springfield, IL)  --  Illinois is near the bottom in a ranking of states where retiring members of the military want to locate.  The list compiled by the personal finance website WalletHub puts Illinois forty-seventh, citing a combination of factors including high taxes, the relatively few veterans benefits facilities and the low number of veterans per-capita.  Wyoming led the list, while California was at the bottom.
