(Springfield, IL) -- Republicans don't think taxpayers should pay 100-million dollars to bring the President Obama Library and Museum to Illinois. They have a different plan. Senator Bill Brady is open to letting people voluntarily donate when they file their state incomes taxes next year. Republicans say bringing the library to Illinois could be a good economic booster, so they don't want to see the plan fall by the wayside. Brady has introduced a bill that would create the tax check-off.
