Wesley Christian Child Development Center Holds Art Show In Macomb

(Macomb, IL) -- Months worth of student for preschoolers in the Regional Office Education #26 Preschool for All class was on display recently all over the walls. The Preschool for All class at Wesley Christian Child Development Center had its annual art show recently, which culminated from the children's study of art and artists. Children created watercolor paintings, self-portraits, finger paintings, still-life paintings and clay art. Janet John is the lead teacher for the ROE's Preschool for All program and teaches the class at Wesley. The ROE's Preschool for All program is part of the Illinois State board of Education's Early Childhood Block Grant. The ROE partners with Wesley, Catch a Star learning Center, the YMCA Community Child Care Center, PACT for West Central Illinois in McDonough County and Hamilton School District #328 and Warsaw School District #316 in Hancock County to provide preschool education for 137 children since 2006.
