Downtown Canton Businesses Broke Into Overnight

(Canton, IL) -- Two downtown businesses in Canton were broke into early this morning. Canton police say that K & L Antiques located at 54 North main Street and Elm Street Cafe on East Elm Street were broke into. Police say that the robbers forced their way through the front door of both the businesses. Elm Street Cafe was broke into sometime between midnight and 5 this morning. K & L Antiques was robbed at about 4 a.m. In both robberies, the suspects got away with an undetermined amount of money from the cash register.
