Expert Gives Advice On TV Watching For Babies

(Undated)  --  How much is too much when it comes to letting your baby watch TV?  Sharon Rechter, co-founder of Baby First TV, says it's not exclusively a matter of how much babies are watching but parents need to pay attention to what they're watching and participate in that watching with them.  The reality is 97-percent of babies are watching TV.  Rechter subscribes to the notion that a sane mother is a healthy mother and that sometimes a very sleepy mother does need to say "it's okay to sit in front of the TV for a short period of time."  The key, she says, like in all facets of life, is balance.
