(Undated) -- The Illinois Emergency Management Agency is launching a contest to give away free weather radios. It's been one year since a tornado tore through Southern Illinois before 5 a.m., leaving eight people dead and over 100 injured. I-EMA spokesperson Patti Thompson says this contest highlights the importance of having a weather radio to help keep your family safe. 100 weather radios will be given away as part of the contest.
