(Galesburg, IL)  --  The City Council in Galesburg have given their go ahead on site plans for the Gale Village Development.  Initial plans of a 27-acre development that was to have included 16 duplexes and a retention plan and also called for a hotel and businesses had to be scaled back.  Negotiations in regard to the duplexes is continuing, but hotel as well as businesses is continuing to move forward.
